Mage-Counterspell on Arena Targets

A macro that casts Counterspell on the arena target without targeting them. It’s very important to have this to be able to Counterspell an opener cast from a Druid or a Mage. Say a Druid casts a Cyclone out of his Stealth or a Mage casts a Frostbolt out of Invisibility, if you spam CS arena1/2/3 you will get his cast locked. The way this works is like this: when the game starts, you will see 3 frames, then Mage goes invisible, and you see that Arena 3 frame is gone, so that’s is the Mage's frame. Spam your Arena3 CS and you will get his first Frostbolt locked instantly, because the first spell he will cast is a Frostbolt! It’s easier to execute cross-CC or double-CC. I’ve talked about before, when you press Polymorph - arena3 and then spam Deep Freeze arena 1 as you do it, you will end up sheeping one person and Deep Freezing the other guy instantly after that! Sometimes you can’t afford to swap your Focus to somebody you want to Sheep/Deep/CS, because you need to look out for some particular debuff/cast on your current Focus. For example, you don’t want to lose your focus on Shadow Priest vs Shadowplay, because in the case Shadowpriest pops his burst (wings, trinket, orb) you want to be able to Deep Freeze/CS him and Spellsteal his wings as soon as possible, but you might not notice this happening at all if you swap focus to the Warlock of Shadowplay to sheep him.

Monks rely on a resource called Chi and are a very fun class to play in both PVP and PVE. They are both melee and spell caster, so they need lots of Wow macros to play to the best possible potential.

Breath of Fire and Dizzying Haze for Monks. Works in World of Warcraft patch 5.1, Mists of Pandaria

This Brewmaster Monk macro combines Breath of Fire and Dizzying Haze into one button. If you use Dizzying Haze before Breath of Fire, it will do more damage. What this macro does is if you have any modifier pressed (control, shift or alt) then it will cast Breath of Fire. If you just click or keybind normally it will cast Dizzying Haze

#showtooltip
/cast [mod] Breath of Fire; Dizzying Haze

Help / Harm combos [Mistweavers] for Monks. Works in World of Warcraft patch 5.1, Mists of Pandaria

These macros are great if you’re running out of room for key bindings. They are especially great for Mistweavers who rely on DPS for healing, but mainly function as a key bind saver. Basically I’ve combined all of the main melee damage abilities with all of the healing abilities a Mistweaver has. I added on an ALT modifier because I like having ALT as my self heal button. I’ve only listed a couple but you can use them as an example of how you can combine help/harm abilities. Obviously these work best if you combine a help w/ a harm ability. Enjoy

Spear Hand Strike for Monks. Works in World of Warcraft patch 5.1, Mists of Pandaria

Description:

This Wow macro for monks Spear Hand Strike ability first attempts to interrupt your focus. You can set your target to your focus by typing /focus. If you don’t have a focus and want to use mouseover targets, you can hold down control and keybind it. Lastly, if none of those conditions were met, it will cast Spear Hand Strike on your target.

I replaced Spear Hand Strike on my action bar with this and use it all the time.

#showtooltip Spear Hand Strike
/cast [@focus, exists] [mod:ctrl,@mouseover] [] Spear Hand Strike

Res and dispel in one button, for monks.

Casts Resuscitate on your dead friendly target or if you’re holding shift (useful for targeting players who already released), or Detox on yourself if you right-click or hold your selfcast modifier (Alt by default), or Detox otherwise.

If you have no target and aren’t using a modifier, you’ll get a glowing hand cursor to select a target for Detox. If you’d prefer to take no action in this case, add “[help]” just before “Detox” in the macro.

#showtooltip
/cast [dead, help] [mod:shift] Resuscitate; [mod:SELFCAST, @player] [btn:2, @player] Detox

Tiger’s Lust on yourself or your focus for Monks.

Tiger’s Lust removes movement impairing effects and increases movement speed. But, you need a macro to use it effectively. This macro for Wow casts Tiger’s Lust on yourself if you left click it or bind it to a key. If you right click it, it casts Tiger’s Lust on your focus.

Macros for Warlocks 5.2

This warlock macro tells your demon to use its most powerful spell, with the Wrathguard it is Wrathstorm and the Felguard it is Felstorm for massive AOE damage along with your Hellfire spell. Good Wow macro to use when you what go to sleep and AOE in a raid.

#showtooltip Hellfire
/cast Command Demon
/cast Hellfire

Description:

This pve warlock macro is for situations when your threat gets too high and you pull the boss or mob off the tank. It casts Unending Resolve and Soulshatter at the same time.

Soulshatter is your threat reduction spell for fights where the tank is having problems holding aggro. Unending Resolve is your damage reduction cooldown. Using both at the same time isn’t optimal in most situations but it does give you and “oh shit” button.
